Not many know that Milind Gunaji, the actor best known for his anti-hero act in the movie "Fareb", was the first to come on board Roland Joffe's film titled "Singularity". The movie that's been in the news for being Bipasha Basu's Hollywood debut, also marks Milind's foray into Hollywood.
In the capital for the promotion of his upcoming movie " Dharna Unlimited", Milind shared this news and said that it was entirely by luck that he landed the role of a Maratha warrior in Joffe's time travel adventure project. "Being the tour guide to Roland on his visit to India helped me bag this role," says Milind.
He explains, "I am a travel writer, and I have nine travel books under my name. I love visiting and exploring the interiors of any city I go to, or any other place that I visit. So, when Roland came to India to scout for the locations for his movie, I took him to Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani. It was then that Roland got to know that I'm also an actor and he offered me the part of a benevolent warrior who fights for the Marathas."
Previously known as "The Invaders", the movie had Brendan Fraser and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in it initially.
